Hike Into The Wilderness
Go waterfall and cave hunting in the vast expanse of the Lofoten mountains. Pick blueberries, lingonberries, and chanterelles. Or relish the scenery and the physical exertion of a proper hike in the crisp Arctic air. But please do it safely by following these simple rules:
Make a plan and stick to it. Never hike alone. Dress adequately. Prepare for changing weather. Bring map and compass, water and snacks, sunscreen, a basic first aid kit, and a fully charged phone. And always inform us of your plans. We need to know when and where to send a search and rescue team in case of an emergency. But don’t worry. Chances are you’ll have a wonderful day with no incident whatsoever.
Bring a bag for flowers, berries and mushrooms. Also, if you come across any garbage from someone less considerate than yourself, please pick it up and discard of it in a civilized manner. Always follow the Lofoten credo: Leave no trace: Remember to read the

Take the bus to the waterfall hike of Sørvågen: STUDALEN and MUNKEBU, 6 km away
The Hike around ÅGVATNET, 9 km away.
Or the mountain of Ryten and KVALVIKA Beach, 30 minutes by car
